These photos are soothing to me because many of them contain repetitive shapes and lines- the order of it all is soothing as everything seems ‘right’. The photo of the stars at night contrasting with the washing line is soothing as it reminds me I am only a small thing in a very large universe and the lines of the washing line are nice and orderee
