About Dr Angela McLaughlin
Hello, my name is Angela Lisa McLaughlin. I am a Developmental Psychologist specialising in Infant Mental Health and Development. I am currently completing my PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Edinburgh. My doctoral research examined how multiple adversities affect early brain development and attachment. The ability to self-regulate and self-soothe is fundamental to our mental health and wellbeing whatever our age. I believe that Project Soothe is a very special Citizen Science project that has the potential to help many people achieve and maintain better mental health in the future.
